We do not accept pitches, recommendation letters or nominations. Additionally, we do not take individual meetings or interviews with any applicants (or potential applicants) for a general or informational meeting. This allows us to keep the process fair and open to all.
-
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the US.
-
Due to the high volume of applications and nature of our production schedule, we will only be able to respond and notify applicants who qualify for the second round interview process.
-
Acceptance into the Director Shadowing Program happens on a rolling basis throughout the year, mentees are announced on our Instagram once they begin shadowing on a Ryan Murphy Production.
-
If you applied in June 2024, and you have not been invited to a second round interview by the end of April 2025, we encourage you to reapply for the new submission cycle in June 2025.
-
We review and interview year-round. We place mentees based on how many spots we have each year, which is ever-changing.
